Our Recruitment Process

When applying to any roles with us make sure to upload a relevant CV & cover letter as well as answer any questions, so we know as much about your experience as possible to give you the best chance at progressing to the next stage.

N.B. - Ensure your CV showcases any relevant experience to hospitality rather than being more focused on your studies or any other career you're pursuing.

Log into your account and add contact details of two previous employers that could provide a reference and confirm previous employment dates for you. 

We need full names, company names and email addresses. 

Your application will not progress to the next stage without these on your profile. 

If you successfully progress to the next stage, you will be invited to attend a one to one teams call with a member of our recruitment team.

This will be an informal interview style chat so that we can get to know you better and find out about your previous experience in detail and why you want to join Xenia.

We value personality above experience so this is a great opportunity to showcase yourself and your communication skills.

Following the teams interview, successful candidates will be sent a link to an app to verify right to work status.

You would need to have access to original documents (either in date British or Irish Passport or government issued share code). If you have a British or Irish birth certificate you can bring this with proof of national insurance into the office for the group interview so it can be checked in person. 

Once your right to work has been verified, you will be emailed an online form. This is so we can capture all information needed for payroll purposes. It will also have our key information document, contract and handbook attached for you to read and e-sign. 

The final stage will involve being invited along to a group interview session. You will receive a link to book a slot. There will usually be around 8 people in each group

We will go through in detail how Xenia works and assess your practical hospitality skills.

Should you successfully pass the in person assessment, you will be invited to join the team and will be text a link to download Ubeya, the booking app we use. 

You will then be able to   apply for shifts! 

You will also gain access to industry recognised training that is complete free of charge!
